Sans the Captain, Toni Tennille stars in the Broadway tour of Victor/Victoria, the Blake Edwards/Henry Mancini/Leslie Bricusse musical about multiple gender confusions in Paris in the early '30s--it's based on Edwards' hit film of 1982, which in turn was an adaptation of the 1933 German film Viktor und Viktoria. This week's performances are at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16; and 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Gammage Auditorium, Mill and Apache in Tempe. The cabaret, which includes performances by Celtic Force, the Mae Crean Dancers and comedian Noel V. Ginnity, takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. at the Sundome, 19403 R.H.
