At its best, Buckcherry (Todd, Keith Nelson, guitars; Jonathan Brightman, bass; Devon Glenn, drums) is a show-bizzy, song-driven mesh of fuck-alls in tats and leather trousers using five crunch chords better than anyone.

At its worst, it comes dangerously close to the Metal Edge set, a scene to which Joshua Todd's vox can bear more than a slight resemblance.
