You want to go hiking, but you're new to Arizona, or your partner is a spud, or you just need a new outdoor crew. The Arizona Motorola Hiking Club, a.k.a. The Trailblazers, invites you to join them for day hikes in some of the prettiest spots in Arizona. Formerly open only to Motorola affiliates, the club now welcomes the public on some of its forays. This isn't the Piestewa Peak crowd -- these people enjoy stunning, out-of-the-way places like Fossil Springs and Angel Falls. A Kachina Trail ramble in Flagstaff marks the last climb of the season -- an adios to springtime and an hola to A/C. Rest up in July, because the group tramps nonstop for the rest of the year, culminating with its annual New Year's Eve outing. For more information, see the Trailblazers Web site at www.azhikers.org, click on the calendar of events, then click to e-mail a hike leader to check on available space, meeting times and places.- KIM TOMS
