No matter what the weather report says, skiers the world over know that ski season truly starts when the latest Warren Miller film comes out. For more than 50 years, Warren Miller Entertainment has crisscrossed the globe to catch the sport's finest practitioners in action, using stunning cinematography to capture the beauty and essence of the sport pursued at a level most of us can only dream of.The company's 54th annual feature film, Warren Miller's Journey, hits the screen this Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6. In true Miller style, the film crosses four continents to capture ski legends such as Glen Plake and Bode Miller in their natural habitat, and features a tribute to snowboarding great Craig Kelly.

Showtimes are 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday at ASU's Gammage Auditorium, 1200 South Forest in Tempe, and 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday at the Orpheum Theatre, 203 West Adams.
