The holiday season in Arizona has often been about luminarias, and nowhere is this tradition more elaborate than at the Desert Botanical Garden. For the past 26 years, it's been almost impossible to see Las Noches de las Luminarias due to the throngs of people that have attended. But this year, the DBG has extended the event from three nights to 12 nights in order to accommodate the demand -- and a limited number of tickets will be offered each night, so it will be possible to enjoy the sights without having to elbow someone out of the way.
