F1 Race Factory brings the karts inside

6/12-6/13
Even the most diehard gearhead would be hard-pressed to endure four hours of outdoor racing in the scorching furnace that is the Valley in June. But what if the action were moved indoors for 120 miles of driving -- in which the competition was heated, but the climate remained decidedly controlled? Ask and you shall receive at "Quattro -- The Race," Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at F1 Race Factory, 317 South 48th Street. Twenty-four teams engage in European Kart Style Racing on F1's indoor quarter-mile track in an event that also features a performance by the Rock On Dance Team and an appearance by the Arizona Dream Girls. Be sure to check out F1's rock climbing wall, deluxe billiards room, racing-themed arcade, and beer and wine bar.
