Icey's career has spanned more than a decade as a vinyl dropper and producer, and he's become one of the legends of the industry, attracting a broad audience that ranges from b-boys to club kids to inner-city house-heads. This pioneer of the breakbeat scene has produced and released more than 80 12-inch wax singles throughout his history, and he shows no signs of letting up. While usually playing more than 100 gigs a year, he still makes time for recording; his latest album is last year's For the Love of the Beat.
