If you were born and christened "Michael Jackson," you might be thinking about changing your name nowadays -- perhaps to something like a disclaimer such as "Oh No." That's exactly what Oh No, the triple threat MC/producer/DJ brother of Madlib (Otis Jackson Jr.) did a while ago. Oh No's swiftly become an underground sensation like his big bro, dropping '04's The Disrupt shortly after Madlib released Madvillainy in collaboration with MF Doom, both on Peanut Butter Wolf's Stones Throw label. Oh No's dropped beats for Wildchild (of Lootpack), Medaphoar, Roc C, and other West Coast luminaries, but he's bringing his own subterranean stylings to the Blunt Club at Hollywood Alley this Thursday, July 14, along with Chicago MC Diverse. This is a Blunt Club beat heads won't want to miss. Admission is $7.
