Nashville Pussy

As the six-string slinger for Georgia raunch 'n' roll band Nashville Pussy, Ruyter Suys has all the finger-chops and flash of her idol, AC/DC's Angus Young, plus big boobs that never manage to stay contained onstage. But rather than go off on a whole "respect me for my music only" tirade, Suys and her husband, NP singer/guitarist Blaine Cartwright, work her sex appeal into the show, as Suys plays blistering solos down on her knees, while Cartwright stands over her and pours beer all over her boobs after she deep-throats the bottle. And she never misses a lick. Now that's a fucking show. As for the music, not much has changed with the release of the band's latest CD, Get Some. They have another new bass player (Karen Cuda, the band's fourth mistress of the low end), and the songs on Get Somecontinue NP's legacy of ballsy, brazen, full-throttle Southern punk, which Cartwright likens to "AC/DC making out with Motörhead while Lynyrd Skynyrd watches." Sounds like a magnificent ménage à trois to us.
