"Hey, man, have you seen any cool concerts lately?"

"Oh yeah, man! I saw Queen with Paul Rodgers -- it was awesome! I gotta tell you, I didn't miss Freddie Mercury's unique voice and stage presence one bit."

"Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw INXS a couple months ago with that new dude they got from that reality show. They were as good as ever. I was like, Michael who???"

"Hahaha, I bet!"

"Yeah. I mean, I remember going to this state fair a couple years ago with a buddy of mine 'cause I wanted to see Journey, and man, that singer they got sounds just like Steve Perry. I couldn't even tell the difference."

"Yeah, that's what I heard."

"But my buddy was bein' a buzzkill. He was all like, 'This is lame, it's like seeing a tribute band. We could've paid five bucks for this, we got ripped off. You can't re-create the chemistry of the original band, you can't replace the lead singer, blah, blah, blah.' And I was like, 'Man, don't ruin my good time, I loved these songs when I was a kid!'"

"What a prick. So are you gonna go see The New Cars? It's like the original guitarist and the keyboardist, plus some session guys, and Todd Rundgren is singing in place of Ric Ocasek."

"Hell yeah I'm gonna go! That's gonna kick ass!!"
