When they aren't busy letting loose in Black Rock City, local Burning Man freaks DJ Kodama and Chromatest J. Pantsmaker (a.k.a. the Salacious BeatSlingers) have been giving Valley hepcats a reason to stay out late on a school night with their weekly gig, A Case of the Tuesdays. Consider them the Pied Pipers of cool, causing you to forgo the whole "early to bed, early to rise" schtick and head to local daiquiri den Fat Tuesdays (natch), 680 South Mill Avenue in Tempe, for bangin' breakbeats and $2 drink specials all night long. Sure, you may clock in late on Wednesday, but a little hangover-induced tardiness never killed anybody. The beats go on from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. and there's no cover.
