Even though Camp Crystal Lake ain't anywhere near P-Town, the dance demons of ClixBagofTricks and Mafiatic will channel the teen-slashing spirit of Jason Voorhees for their latest raucous rave event, My Friend Jason’s House. The horrifying all-night hootenanny on Friday, April 13 (natch), sounds like something the hockey mask-clad killer would dig, especially since there'll surely be a mob of twentysomethings and teenyboppers in attendance just begging for a taste of his machete. A menacing mixture of local turntablist talent will adopt nasty noms de plume for the night, including Matthew "Murder" Harris, Hack'D (a.k.a. Pac D), Zak The Ripper, the Bassline Killer, and others. Philadelphia-based DJs Mike Saga and StepKinetic will also drop some devilish drum 'n' bass tracks, while MC High IQ spits out fresh rhymes. Doors open at 9 p.m. and admission costs $17 before 10 p.m., $20 afterwards (get $2 off with a canned good donation). Call 602-325-1595 the night of the event for the location.
