Does the NFL preseason really matter?

No, according to San Diego Chargers superstar halfback LaDainian “LT” Tomlinson, who, during a recent sideline interview, admitted that he isn’t going to play a down until regular-season action.

Yes, according to us, because our hometown Arizona Cardinals aren’t the playoff-caliber San Diego Chargers (at least not yet), so they need all the practice they can get.

It’s true that LT won’t do much more than model lightning-bolt paraphernalia during the Cards' final home preseason tune-up, but two of the league’s hottest pigskin-slinging talents -- Matt Leinart and Philip Rivers -- are expected to show off their stuff for a quarter or two.
