Hi there, I just have to reply to the author's comments on Berkana Townhomes. I agree with his comments about nice houses in a bad part of town. We are a professional couple with no kids. Registered Nurse and Personal Trainer. We went to view the Berkana Homes at Hidden Mountain on 29th Avenue and Deer Valley. As we were approaching the property, we were taking in the neighbouring areas.Yes, it's an industrial and "not so great" area of town. But, we were ever so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the property. The area houses 66 units. We looked at a couple of the units. The incentives are very attractive $45000.00 worth! The unit we are choosing is facing Hidden Mountain. Yes, there's somewhat of a trailer park back there but, well separated by a significant gravel ditch/wash. It is sooooo peaceful/quiet and the scenery is to live for. The interior of the unit is well laid out. We were looking at the 2bedroom and 2.5 bath. I think we're getting our monies worth. The walls are double insulated with dead space in between. We are happy to be future homeowners of this community. The outside architecture and color scheme of the units is very refreshing, classy, chic and clean. The inside of the unit utilizes the space well and plenty of light comes in through the windows. I'm a tough sell as is my husband. We liked the first time we saw it. Yesterday, we went to see it and pick out our future unit and we loved it even more. The salesman at this particular location is very laid back, yet, knowledgeable, professional, helpful, patient and friendly. Please give yourself an opportunity to experience this location---it will surprise you!
