Porn King: Jay Grdina

When it comes to women, Jay Grdina may be the luckiest man in the adult film industry. The director, producer, and performer (often under the screen name "Justin Sterling") met porn star Jenna Jameson in the late '90s, and the pair founded Club Jenna Inc., a multimedia adult entertainment juggernaut that now nets an estimated $30 million a year. Jay and Jenna married and bought a $2 million house in Scottsdale, then divorced early this year. However, the pair remain on good terms and continue to operate aspects of Club Jenna, which was purchased last year by Playboy. Grdina also continues to produce adult films with a stable of six contract women, and has also branched out into the music industry with Club Jenna Vinyl, an indie hip-hop label that introduced its first artist, GOOSE, this summer.

I arrived in Phoenix in 1984 when the streets were still covered with tumbleweeds and cows.

When I’m stuck in traffic, Ihave flashbacks of L.A. and why I moved away from there.

I never forget to TiVo my favorite commercials!

On Saturday night, you can find me walking in a club with 20 people in tow.

My favorite thing about summer in Phoenix is the fact that I get to cook breakfast on the hood of my car!

If I could redo my first kiss, I’d kissGisele Bündchen, but only if I was taller than her at that age!

The one dessert I refuse to eat is I am a dessert junkie. I usually order one of every dessert on the menu and sample. Oink oink.

If I was mayor of Phoenix, I’d change the rules regarding strip clubs . . . like I could resist that one!!! I would actually banish photo radar, considering the problems they cause and the city only retains less than 20 percent of the revenues they generate.

In high school, I was the kid who was the biggest troublemaker.

In another life, I was a goat herder with a sweet staff.

The one place in Phoenix I don’t want anyone to know about is Chelsea's Kitchen.

On my nightstand, you’ll find a Bose, candles, pics, art, and a condom dispenser. (That's what everyone expects!)

The fictional character I’m most like is the Donkey in Shrek.

The best thing about Phoenix is the people!
