Ghouls and goblins aren't the only things that are gonna go bump in the night during the next seven days, as countless DJs, turntablists, and spin doctors will blasting phat beats all across P-town in celebration of the annual frightfest known as Halloween. One of the bigger shindigs will be the Fright Night rave, which takes over the Icehouse, 429 West Jackson Street, on Saturday, October 27, and features sessions by marquee DJs from around the world, include Belgian trance master Kristof and Toronto's Freaky Flow, who'll bring plenty of drum 'n' bass to the affair. The party runs from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., and tickets cost $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door before 11 p.m., $30 afterwards, and $40 for VIP admission. If you're craving more d'n'b action, check out The Freaks Come Out at Nightdance event on Wednesday, October 31, at the newly opened Club Silver, 132 East Washington, where superstar spinsters Dylan and Tech Itch will rock the record decks until 2 a.m. Doors open at 9 p.m., and admission costs $15 before midnight, and $20 afterwards (with discounts for those in costume or with college ID). The Skybar at Mondrian Scottsdale, 7353 East Indian School Road, will also be ground zero for some dope DJ action on All Hallows Eve, as its Totally ’80s Halloween party features hip-hop legend Biz Markie (of "Just a Friend" fame) working the record decks with his partner Cool-V.
