The hipster center of the universe in Oregon loves stealing some of our favorite creative peeps. Justin Cory from the brutal musical duo Bodhisattva. Marla Thayer, bowl percussionist in Tent/City. The latest defector, as of December, will be supercool artist Lisa Albinger, who creates fantastical works on canvas by painting with cotton swabs and paper towels. Freaking Portland.

This loss will be our gain at the Lisa Albinger Trunk Show. The artist will sell more than 100 original paintings, artist proof giclés, and drawings, some for as low as a hundred bones. We love ya, Lisa, but all we gotta say is good luck keeping those paper brushes dry, especially during the rainy season.

The event runs in conjunction with the Chandler Art Walk, which takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.
