You nerds just can't get enough? Boldly go to AMC.
Published on November 08, 2007 at 4:00am
Ever wonder how hot Lieutenant Uhura (circa '67, of course) would look on the big screen? Thought so. As if the nerd gods were listening, the divine Nichelle Nichols and the rest of the original Enterprise gang have finally been delivered to us in remastered, high-def glory in the form of Star Trek: The Original Series. The totally classic two-part episode The Menagerie will be screened along with a message from Gene Roddenberry's kid Eugene and a new 30-minute doc. The show also screens at AMC Deer Valley 30, 3033 West Agua Fria Freeway, and AMC Desert Ridge 18, 21001 North Tatum Road. See the Web site for more info.
