Delight 2007

The dance floor funkheads behind Outside World Entertainment are always busy cooking up some kinda PLUR-heavy throwdowns for rave fans here in the PHX, whether it's a shindig like Acid Reign, Diablo, or the annual Philter spectacular. Now you can add another EDM event to the pile, as they're gearing up for Delight 2007 at the Icehouse, 429 West Jackson Street, on Saturday, December 1, which promises to be a "night of awesome beats" across "a hefty spectrum of the electronic dance culture." The headliners include Florida freakazoid DJs Jackal & Hyde, a pair of electro/industrial maniacs who've worked their remix magic on the likes of Limp Bizkit, Love and Rockets, and Genitorturers. Also on the bill is the U.K.'s Simon Patterson (a.k.a. Dogzilla), who's making his first appearance in Arizona and will be spinning techno, trance, and electronica. The usually packed lineup of local DJs includes Illektrolab, Jeff Trevors, Matthew Harris, Richard Anthony, Citrik, Steve Edwards, and a dozen others. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $15 pre-sale through November 30, $20 at the door until midnight, and $30 afterwards. Call 800-290-3892 or visit www.delight2007.com.
