Howard Stern can make or break you. If you’re the band Gloritone, you lose credibility, but if you’re Florida shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge, the Stern connection can nab you millions of brand-new, like-minded listeners. The Absorbent One was dropped from Clear Channel in 2004 and picked up by Howard 101 on Sirius in 2006, but according to l'éponge d'amour’s blog, there may soon be a parting of these waves, also. Even Howard must have his limits.

A few years earlier, Bubba gained infame when he orchestrated the public castration and death of a wild boar, but more recently, he’s been pulling a fat-and-ugly Andy Kaufman by boxing women. Perhaps with his BubbaPalooza manly show for manly men on Friday, December 14, Bubba will experiment with his “art” -- for instance, the 12 Boobs of Christmas calendar, where the selected winners get boob jobs, their own month, and we're sure, an immediate acting career. We think our Boob Calendar would include Sheriff Joe as October, stuffed into a sexy gazelle costume sporting a big red target on his ass.
