Happy Chez Nous Year

Hellooo '08!

By Lilia Menconi

Published on January 03, 2008

We were super-nervous about Chez Nous' big move from Seventh Avenue to Grand Avenue. Change is scary, especially when it revolves around a Valley staple of nightlife. So when we heard they pulled it off and that they were having a kickass New Year's party, we decided to check it out. And we weren't alone. (Click here for more photos.)

The place was crazy and jam-packed with people wanting to get wild, and we could hardly frame a shot. The bar was backed-up, so we reckon there was a lot of sobriety, which was the main culprit for some New Year's surliness. But by the time midnight rolled around, spirits improved, our photos were done, and we brought in 2008 with a sweaty mess on the dance floor.
