Many of you probably ventured forth to Austin for SXSW this weekend. On the off chance you chose to stick a little closer to home rather than rocking out on Sixth Street, you may have attended...

2nd Annual AZ Salsa Festival at The Venue of Scottsdale. Classes and demonstrations rocked the earlier part of the schedule, while free dancing a little later in the night seemed to draw the biggest crowds.

Skaters (some as young as 10 years old) hit the decks at The Wedge skate park this Saturday for its annual competition. Congrats to Taylor Varva for taking home the gold.

Flogging Molly played in Phoenix this weekend and stuck around for St. Patty's Day, making sure you all got your fill of Irish punk.
