At the time of writing, it appears highly unlikely the Arizona Diamondbacks will make the playoffs. What happened? Why the total collapse from a team that went 20-8 in April into one that the measly Padres have been laying wood to? Who’s to blame for this steamy pile of horse mess? Manager Bob Melvin, who might have prevented a titanic crumbling of the pitching staff? What about General Manager Josh Byrnes, who could have gone after Manny Ramirez instead of the windmill named Adam Dunn? How about the anemic offense? The crappy bullpen? Ah, forget it.
