Recipe for Success

The uterus lives on at Trunk

By Lilia Menconi

Published on April 09, 2008 at 4:00am

Ah, the modern woman. She’s educated (so much so that she emasculates her boyfriends). She’s independent (because she’s too much of a chickenshit to take emotional risks). And she’s career-driven (yep, the uterus is dead). Even with so much, er, success (?), society still expects her to be a culinary wonder. Sigh. Well, ladies, time to call mom and mooch a crowd-pleasing recipe for the Trunk Space Festival’s potluck and bake sale. On April 12, there’ll be group-gorging of the collective food pile, with some palate-pleasing dessert by Soft Shoulder, Love Songs and Monster Songs, and many more music acts following.
