Comedian Brian Posehn is the ultimate schlemiel done good. He’s carved out a nice niche by playing a bunch of nobodies in scores of contemporary TV shows and movies. There’s not the remotest chance you’ll remember him in any of these, but here’s a partial list of his credits: The Sarah Silverman Program. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Dumb and Dumberer. Seinfeld. Friends. NewsRadio, Just Shoot Me, Everybody Loves Raymond, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, voice work for the video game Halo 2, the “Ink Fairy” in the Staples office-supply-chain commercials. We presume he had to sleep with somebody to get it, but he recently scored a long-awaited starring role as a headlining comic.
