Academicians aren't exactly known for their partying skills. For example, if you’re the parent of a nerd and you go out of town, here’s the worst-case scenario: Your house gets trashed, but instead of empty pizza boxes, there are algebra books left open all over the floor. The recycle bin’s overflowing with Jolt cans instead of beer bottles. The only 911 call was for poor Ralph, who went into insulin shock when he ate too many Oreos. Nerd parties. Pathetic. Until now, that is.

Head to Tempe’s Brand X Store for an evening of art, film, music, and fashion during Academics. Thrown by renegade artist Disposable Hero, the night promises killer graffiti art, wheatpaste designs, silkscreens, and stellar DJ sets to celebrate the end of the school year.
