After a hot start, the Arizona Diamondbacks have been on a serious slide of late. With a boatload of road games coming up – including two separate three-city stops to the Midwest and East coast – and a young club to boot, one has to wonder if a June swoon will knock the D-Backs further down the National League West ladder.

Fortunately, in between the roadies is a three-game home series against the Kansas City Royals. Yeah, the Royals, who still exist over there in the American League Central, despite being irrelevant for more than two decades. Sounds like a perfect chance to get fat on some home cookin’.
