The number seven has always been mysteriously alluring. Across different mythologies, it’s been associated with perfection and divinity. Soul/funk songstress Erykah Badu named her and Andre 3000's son Seven, noting that the integer is the highest single-digit prime number – beating George Costanza to the punch.

The Coronado Neighborhood Association uses the power of numbers to draw folks to its western border for the monthly Coronado Nights Out: 7th on 7th Street. The next one takes place on (yep, you guessed it) Friday, November 7, at MacAlpine's Soda Fountain and Espresso Bar. There will be music, ice cream specials, and the first annual Coronado Dispatch Dessert Bake-Off to sweeten the deal.
