Institute of Bass and Breaks' DJ Pac-D will light up Illumination v2.0 on Saturday
Here's a recipe for a seriously stellar night of entertainment: Take a half-dozen of Arizona's most imaginative visual artists, VJs, and filmmakers, and mix them liberally with eight or nine of the Valley's DJs, turntablists, and "audio navigators." The result? An all-night extravaganza titled Illumination v2.0, which goes down on Saturday, November 22, and promises "full sensory stimulation through a unique blend of sights and sounds." Not only will your eyes will be amazed at such treats as black-light decorations and multimedia pieces created by such artists as FryGoblin and Ghostmeat, a few folks like The MCP will present a simultaneous audio and visual experience. Meanwhile a slew of locals will also be providing the bumps and beats, including the Institute of Bass and Breaks' Pac D., Overmind Works' Nick Synergy, and FWD's Steve Edwards. Admission is $20 at the door. Visit www.stimulateproductions.net for start time and the location of the event.
