Slasher films were as much a part of ’80s-generation adolescence as awkward boners and acne. Speaking of hard-ons, we still get a little revved up when thinking about all the hot pseudo-action we used to get at the Bijou. We don't know what was more awkward, the terrible acting on screen or our fumbling with a loose pair of titties under our date’s sweater. Ah, memories.

Thanks to Midnight Movie – a Chicago Horror Film Festival Award-winning film that re-creates classic scenes from ’80s slasher films – we've got another chance to get to second base in a darkened room full of strangers. Okay, we'll probably chicken out, but $5 a ticket is worth it to relive our glory days, with a pretty cool flick thrown in, to boot.
