Even though he’s pushing 37 years old, Shaquille O’Neal is still one of the NBA’s most visible players. And though the league’s All-Star Weekend festivities are crackling all over town this weekend, you know Shaq can be found at the, ahem, center of it all . . . but not necessarily in the way you think.

You see, we knew about Shaq’s forays into the worlds of acting, music, and law enforcement. But we had no clue about his attempts at stand-up comedy (his trips to the free-throw line notwithstanding). Yes, besides appearing in his 15th All-Star game on Sunday, O’Neal can be found onstage in an unlikely pairing with chapeau’d comedian Cedric the Entertainer for Shaq & Cedric the Entertainer’s All-Star Comedy Jam.
