In high school, you braved a riot line of parents, cops, and angry neighbors after getting buzzed on a six-pack at a house party. Since then, you’ve guzzled many more six-packs at myriad other house parties, yet you’ve still never puked in public. Here’s your latest challenge: Spiked! Thursday at Desert Botanical Garden. Beginning Thursday, February 26, the hipster-in-the-desert series invites guests to wend their way among dangerous flora and priceless glass works by Dale Chihuly while sipping libations. Weekly through mid-May, the 21-and-over series will offer a Chihuly-inspired cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment; this time around, the Garden will be rockin' with tequila sunrise cocktails and beats by DJs Rani "g" and dk.strickler.
