You turn into a sprinkler head of snot and tears whenever your boyfriend doesn't call you for over two hours. Oh, that’s because Daddy didn’t love you. Or maybe you believe you’re a piece of poo-poo, undeserving of love. Hmmm . . . middle child? Or you mysteriously spite your girlfriend whenever she does the dishes. Say hi to your mommy issues.

Think your family's got problems? Psh. Meet the Smith family. The numskull trailer-trash Texans put a hit out on Mom and throw their youngest daughter in bed with a murderer, and all end up in desperate need of emotional counseling. Watch the hilarity and horror unfold in Nearly Naked Theatre’s Arizona première of Killer Joe.

Written by Tony Award winner/Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts (Bug), the play is a white-trash farce on one level, a study of a violently benumbed America on another.

Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: March 6. Continues through March 28, 2009
