It’s one of those weeks in the Cactus League. No marquee affairs like Manny and the Dodgers invading HoHoKam to take on the Cubs. No blood-feud rivalry games. Split-squad affairs everywhere you look. Blecch. It’s time to tune out the match-ups and check out a hot new park: Goodyear Ballpark at 1933 South Ballpark Way.

The $100 million-plus Goodyear Ballpark, home to the Cleveland Indians and their Ohio brethren, the Cincinnati Red Sox, beginning in 2010, is billed as a “ballpark village.” Think Disneyland Resort with a baseball theme.
