Macnuggets of Wisdom

Biting sarcasm? Pop-culture quippery? We’re lovin’ it.

Sure, he boasts a long and pseudo-illustrious career featuring such credits as Dirty Work, the Dr. Doolittle franchise, Family Guy, Billy Madison, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and My Name Is Earl, not to mention a five-year run as the most polarizing Weekend Update anchor in Saturday Night Live history. But Norm MacDonald truly proved his versatility last year by stealing The Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget with his infinitely literal, meta-comedy spoof of old-school Friars Club ribbings. Few other comedians can pull off cuddly and curmudgeonly, but MacDonald does biting sarcasm, pop-culture quippery, and aw-shucks yuks with equal aplomb.
