Love them or hate them, it’s no accident that poverty-stricken Euro mods helped kick-start these tiny “wasps” into the forefront of fashion. Easy on the gas and delightful to maneuver, they eventually made their way across the pond, where America promptly labeled them any number of rough epithets, and the “scooterclub” was born.
