Few things symbolize summertime in the Valley better than a raucous pool party. Many a scorched Phoenician has found relief from the triple-digit temps while lounging around the ol' swimming hole with a few friends and a case or two of brews. But your average beer-soaked backyard bash pales in comparison to the beach blanket blowouts that will be taking place each weekend atop the Wyndham Phoenix Hotel, 50 East Adams Street, during Adult Swim. The DJ trio of William Fucking Reed, Sean Watson, and Jared Alan will present an outrageous aquacade of music and madness every Sunday through Labor Day weekend, as they spin a variety of electro, rock 'n' roll, disco-punk, hip-hop, and other tracks alongside the rooftop pool. The launch party on Sunday, May 24, will also feature appearances by such guest DJs as San Francisco's Gold Chains and L.A.'s Them Jeans, as well as locals Tricky T, Pickster One, Brazilia, and Prince $$$. The party starts at 1 p.m. each week and admission is $8. Visit www.myspace.com/adltswmdwntwn.
