Nightlife becomes day life in the Arizona summer heat, and hotels pop off all-day pool parties like they’re Corona Light caps. But with so many wet-hot happenings, the party-throwers need something extra to drown out the competition.

Mondrian Scottsdale Resort is juicing up its Poolside Sundays series on Sunday, June 7, by flying in one of the most-sought-after DJs around: DJ Ravidrums, best known for his 2008 Super Bowl performance with Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. Ravidrums incorporates live drumming with remixing, meshing hip-hop, rock, funk, house, Latin, Brazilian, and reggaeton.

Also performing is DJ Jaime Narvaez, a major player in the Hollywood and Miami house and dance music scenes who blends samba, disco, and dirty electro with house classics to create a funky, deep sound.
