Stephenie Meyer may get most of the headlines these days, but Arizona’s other world-famed author of atmospheric romantic fiction – Diana Gabaldon – gets her due with the national launch of An Echo in the Bone, the latest in her wildly popular Outlander series. To accentuate the Scottish theme of the book/series, a piper will play Gabaldon to the podium at 6 p.m. sharp. Admission is free, but the author will only sign copies of the book purchased for the event.
