Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

There's a release party, and there's a release party. If all goes according to plan, these Cleveland-based '90s hip-hop harmonizers will have enjoyed both by year's end. Yes, they will have celebrated the release of their long-awaited reunion album, The World's Enemy, due in stores this November. And, yes, they will also have celebrated the release of founding member Flesh-n-Bone, who was recently paroled from California's Pleasant Valley State Prison after serving eight years of an 11-year sentence for nearly going Rambo on somebody's ass with his trusty AK-47. Hey, what do you expect? It's Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, not Bone Boy Scouts-N-Harmony. So join Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone and all the bones as they swing through town on the West Coast leg of a summer/fall mini-tour. Among the new songs they're likely to perform: "Easy E," an homage to the late N.W.A. rapper who gave BTNH their first break in the biz. They're thugs, all right, but they're not unsentimental.
