He figured that if he could ace Yale Law School and climb Mount Everest, burning down his house and getting away with it would be a piece of cake. It wasn't.

Banksters fail to surprise again: Wow, what a surprise that another bankster commits an act of fraud.

Haven't you New Times morons been paying attention as to who has been fleecing this country for the past two-plus decades?

Jesus Christ, maybe it's time to focus on something the average Phoenix retard can relate to. I'd start with an article on pit bulls, tattoos, or the most recent Ultimate Fighting Championship event. And maybe finish up with some dumbass who torched his house.
David Stone, Phoenix

Marin — more than meets the eye: Thank you for your amazing article! Unbelievable. I know Mr. Marin a bit. I hope he is innocent.

Hard to imagine that a man quoting the Tao and Mother Teresa on my Facebook page would have ever done this. However, his integrity is questionable to say the least.

Well, innocent or not, I have blocked him. Had no clue [until reading the story] he had a girlfriend while "searching for his soul mate."
Astrid Ambroziak, Los Angeles

He has no moral compass: I believe that the real Michael J. Marin is quite different from the carefully scripted versions he gives, and I believe that he acts without a moral compass or conscience.

Michael Marin, what a piece of crap he is. Just another liar who thinks their smarter than everyone else out there. He's a legend in his own mind! haha

While riding through the central corridor yesterday, I noticed a number of people waiting for the "new" tram. But these people (some of whom were sitting on the ground while many others were standing), were doing so because there was not enough adequate seats for them to use. I further noticed that the seats are only located on one side and not on both of the "Tram Stops". Why is this? I will tell you, all along the "Tram Routes" there has been placed the most god ugly forms of "art work"(?) that I have ever seen. THAT IS WHERE OUR MONEY AS TAXPAYERS IS GOING TO - TO PAY FOR THAT UNSIGHTLY UGLY SO CALLED "FUTURISITIC ART". Who was responsible for buying that art, where did the money come from, how come us taxpayers were never notified or atleast we should have been able to vote on what art work (if any), should have been purchased.

Sometime ago, large ugly teapots were purchased and placed on top of the new wall that was constructed for the paradise valley residents to reduce the noise from the new freeway. Where are they now? They were paid for by us taxpayers, we never had a say if we wanted our tax monies going into someting so stupid. If I wanted to see oversized teapots, I would have bought a book with pictures of ALICE IN WONDERLAND!

This kind of spending of our tax dollars is uncalled for. Arizona and Jan Brewer are sayig that Arizona is in the "Red by Millions of Dollars". Take a drive down Camelback and notice the "art" sitting on 19th Ave., go down Cental Ave. and look at the "art" next to the Tram stops. But best of all, go as far as the Post Office, and look at the "art" that is displayed there. How much did this cost us taxpayers!

Everyone needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Write a letter to your council represent.; send a letter to the governor. We have homeless and jobless people that need help. Where is our humanity! How can we just ignore our own kind - kids starving, living on the streets. But we can afford to buy "junk" that someone calls "art". I truly do not know how (or whoever authorized payment for this junk) can sleep at night knowing that we have a major problem; little children going without a proper meal, mothers walking the streets downtown who are pregnant - do I need to go on?

Tear down those pieces of junk and scrap them all - Phoenix was not meant to be on the top ten best cities in the nation and put the taxpayers' monies to work for our communities!
