From 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, October 3, the museum kicks off the fall season with a video artists’ panel discussion and a reception for guest artist Nick Cave in conjunction with the “Nick Cave: Meet Me at the Center of the Earth” exhibit. The bi-annual SMoCA Nights affair takes over from 9 to midnight, featuring live music, DJs, art, and the semifinals of the Scottsdale Fashion Week Designer of the Year Fashion Show.
