Clockwork OrangeWith Shaq gone, Suns return to their true speed: fastBy Ed KummererPublished on October 28, 2009 at 4:01amLast season, the_Real_Shaqs presence on Twitter helped start a cultural revolution. Unfortunately, Shaquille ONeals presence on the Phoenix Suns nearly led to a teammate revolt. To put it mildly, Shaqs lumbering style of play did not mesh with that of star point guard Steve Nash. Forced to choose between the two, the Suns dealt Shaq and rebuilt around Nash. Your first regular-season chance to see the new-look team takes place when Phoenix hosts the Golden State Warriors. With Shaq gone, power forward Amare Stoudemire healthy (we think), Nash sticking signed to an extension, and the team committed to an up-tempo style, the squad figures to look eerily similar to the old Suns that last captivated the Valley in 2005.
