Christmas time is here, as the Peanuts gang might sing. More accurately, the holiday shopping season is just around the corner, which is the very thing that round-headed blockhead Charlie Brown furrowed his eyebrows over. In other words, the hounds of capitalism are sounding the call, but that's no reason to get down, especially when Phoenix is lucky enough to have Bunky Boutique and PHX DIY around.

On Saturday, November 14, the camps join forces for In the Yard. Bunky, host of the artisan-made-goods shindig, is a retail bright spot in downtown Phoenix, with founders Jim Malloy and Rachel Richards even nabbing a "Best Style" nod in these very pages. PHX DIY is a newly formed cartel with a knack for the handmade, boasting Against the Grain goods, Ghosticorn Apparel, Kenzie Noelle, Perfect Dressipe, Space Cadet Jewelry, Spoonful of Chocolate handbags, and Yardley December as members.
