For most of his life, Larry Forsythe had his hands in everything from concrete to steel. These days, theyre wrist-deep in clay behind a potters wheel. After more than 20 years in the construction business, Larrys come out of retirement to start Another Gallery the product of his lifelong passion for art and those who do it well.
I can build skyscrapers, he says, but I dont know how a credit-card machine works.
Hed better learn fast. Another Gallery, his new project with Lesa Mahoney, grand-opens from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, December 4. The space will feature the work of six artists, including nationally known trompe loeil purveyor Gregory West and emerging watercolorist Wendy Willis.
The grand-opening festivities include drinks and appetizers.
