Everybody should peep a parade live at least once, and you may watch for free from any legal spot you can find -- we know several people who turn their high-rise offices into VIP suites for the day (that’s where your high-up friends come in). For its 36th year, the hour-and-a-half Parade will march, roll, and trot along for about two miles, and will feature brass bands, big ol' balloons, intricate floats, horsies galore, and Grand Marshals Chelsea Staub of Disney Channel’s Jonas and professional wrestler/actor John Cena.

It starts at 11 a.m. at Central and Montebello Avenues. Reserved seats in the parade-route bleachers are $25 in advance.
