The Phoenix Coyotes have basically been NHL Playoffs-less since hockey was invented, so we’re not going to spin that old yarn. Instead, allow us to exploit something good about the team: as of press time, the Coyotes were situated in prime-ish postseason position as the number five team in the Western Conference. It’s hard to believe, really, considering all of the off-the-ice drama surrounding the squad and its potential sale. They’ll look to keep the positive vibes going when they host the New York Rangers, a solid team that’s positioned in the number seven slot in the Eastern Conference.
