Nausea is a common symptom of Suns Fever these days. Its understandable because following the Phoenix Suns this season has been like riding a carnival ride operated by a drunk.
For the first two months of the season, they looked like one of the best teams in the league. Then, the team hit a turning point in the middle of December when they, en route to a heartbreaking loss, blew a fifteen-point, second-half lead against the Portland Trail Blazers. Two months of inconsistent play that has frustrated the team and its fans followed.
Perhaps the Suns best chance to recapture what they lost will come when the Blazers roll into US Airways Center. Perhaps if the Suns can shut down Portland guard Brandon Roy and secure a victory the game will prove to be yet another turning point. Or, perhaps not.
