What do hobos, hipsters, and the 1893 Chicago World's Fair have in common? If you guessed a love for Pabst Blue Ribbon, you are absolutely correct. The cheap price tag has been a friend to the homeless for decades. That is, until the hipsters took it over and unofficially claimed the piss-quality brew as their official dive-bar drink. And the beer allegedly got its name from winning a blue ribbon at the World's Fair. What a glorious history.
