You may think you’re authentic about your ‘80s rock fandom, but unless you know about Faster Pussycat, you’re just a mainstreamer. This lesser-known group of rockers formed in Hollywood in 1985, and released their self-titled album in 1987, the same year as Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction. Two years later, the band reached gold status with its second album, Wake Me When It’s Over. After touring with KISS and Mötley Crüe, the band busted up and disappeared into the fog of rock trivia before eventually ending up on Guitar Hero for Playstation 2.
